Crack the world's most famous puzzle using the intuitive layer-by-layer method. Master core moves, recognize piece patterns, and solve any scramble with confidence.
Like Duolingo, but for Solving the Rubik's Cube. Tomo turns the whole topic into a game you play five minutes a day, until it actually sticks.
22 levels across 3 sections, about 44 minutes end to end, roughly 9 days at five minutes a day. It moves through Groundwork and the First Layer, The Middle Belt and Top Cross, and Finishing the Cube and Building Fluency. It starts from scratch.

Key ideas in Solving the Rubik's Cube
- Centers have 1 sticker, edges have 2, and corners have 3
- Because of their physical geometry, a corner can never move into an edge or center slot
- Center pieces are anchored directly to the cube's internal 3D cross core and do not move relative to one another
- The single color showing on a face's center piece dictates what entire color that face will be when solved
- Rubik's cube moves manipulate whole solid blocks of plastic, not loose individual stickers
- Moving an edge piece shifts both of its colors simultaneously, and moving a corner shifts all three
- Standard notation letters represent faces: R for Right, U for Up, L for Left, and F for Front
- A bare letter means turn that face 90 degrees clockwise (looking directly at it), while an apostrophe (called 'prime') means turn 90 degrees counterclockwise
- The right-hand trigger is a fundamental 4-move loop: R, U, R', U'
- It consists of lifting the right slot (R), pushing the top layer (U), pulling the right slot back down (R'), and resetting the top layer (U')
- The daisy groups four white edges around the yellow center face opposite white
- Building the daisy gives a safe staging zone where you can freely move edges without knocking already placed cross pieces out of position
- Moving directly to the white face makes it easy to accidentally displace pieces you already placed
- Check the side sticker of the white edge while it sits in the top daisy layer
- Rotate the top layer until that side sticker matches its corresponding side center color
- Turn that matched face by 180 degrees (two turns) to place the white sticker onto the bottom face
